Masculine Reality

When Joshua was by Jericho, he lifted up his eyes and looked, and behold, a man was standing before him with his drawn sword in his hand. And Joshua went to him and said to him, "Are you for us, or for our adversaries?" (Joshua 5:13 - ESV)

A friend of mine sent this little tidbit to my email. After he explained recoil to me I had to chuckle. I never been in the military and recoil is what I would of call a kick after shooting a shotgun.

It is nice to see masculinity on display in a feminized press who has no clue about what the military do in the time of war. If I ever met this GI who responded to the perky one’s stupid question with this clever answer I would buy him a box of cigars! Here is the Story:

Katie Couric, while interviewing a Marine sniper, asked: "What do you feel when you shoot a terrorist?"

The Marine shrugged and replied: "Recoil."

Hard to fault a GI that eloquent!
