Logos: A Great Bible Software Comes to the Mac

"And the Father who sent me has himself borne witness about me. His voice you have never heard, his form you have never seen, and you do not have his word abiding in you, for you do not believe the one whom he has sent. You search the Scriptures because you think that in them you have eternal life; and it is they that bear witness about me, yet you refuse to come to me that you may have life." (John 5:37-40 - ESV)
I do want to state that not all things in the bookstore were all bad. After all, during those years I was exposed to some books by good Reformed authors. I thank God that he used these authors to direct my path to the Reformed faith.
When Windows 95 was released to the world our bookstore started to stock Bible software. I personally was excited by this new product line. During that time most of the Bible softwares on the market were mediocre at best and most of them have made light-years improvements in their product over the years. However, one Bible software publisher products were very impressive and that was Logos. I believe, at the time, that they had the best Bible software on the market and of course they were the most expensive.
As time went by I have grown found of the Apple computers. In fact, I am planning to buy to a MacBook Pro this fall. I was excited to learn that Logos is planning to release a Mac OS X version of it Bible software this fall [click HERE]. Even the Washington Times has article by Mark Kellner on the release of this new product.
I haven’t use Bible software in years. Most the Mac versions of the Bible were disappointing. I usually rely on Biblegateway.com to do my searches of the scripture. I may consider getting this version of the Bible if it lives up to the reputation of Logos in the past and they better have an English Standard Version!

PS – On the side panel of my blog I even added a banner of the future product.
